Packing for a 3–4 day trip as a guy is always more confusing than it should be, even though we all follow the same simple rule — one good pair of jeans and a few T-shirts can get you through almost anything. When I was heading from Delhi to Pune for a meeting, I stood there debating between a trolley bag and something lighter, and that’s when I picked my Strutt duffle bag. I kept it minimal (or at least I tried to): one jeans, three T-shirts, and two shirts — because you never really know when you might need to switch things up. Surprisingly, even after packing all that, there was still plenty of space left, so I threw in my sunglasses, perfume, power bank, and a few extra essentials. At that point, I was convinced the bag would feel heavy, but the real surprise came when I picked it up — it didn’t. The weight felt balanced, the handles were smooth and comfortable, and carrying it on my shoulder or in hand felt effortless. From navigating the rush in Delhi to moving around in Pune, it just made traveling easier — no dragging, no bulk, no hassle. And the best part? People actually noticed it. I even got asked which bag I was carrying, which says a lot. What I thought would just be a simple travel choice turned into a realization: for short trips, it’s not about carrying more, it’s about carrying smarter — and honestly, I don’t see myself going back to trolley bags anytime soon.
